CONTENT OF THE ACTIVITY

During the meeting, the participant teachers analyzed how cultural heritage is taught in their countries, presented ppts and working sheets on the teaching of cultural heritage and worked together to produce material on the non-formal education on cultural heritage. The participants of the activity were: Maria Pia Panunzio and Margitta Boenisch (Germany), Mariella Gentile and Miranda Bocci (Italy), Eleni Poyatji and Elina Charalambous (Cyprus) and Kallirroy Konstantopoulou and Maria Stamatopoulou (Greece).
Material

The participants worked on a project of the Centre of Visual Arts and Research (CVAR) in Nicosia, Cyprus about the wedding traditions and customs as an example of how the objects of a museum can come to life and how a "museum bag" can be used in class. They learned Digital Tools for teaching cultural heritage and were presented different activities on non-formal cultural heritage education..
